Recently on August 10, 2019,a DLT tunnel kiln for sanitaryware production
was ignited for warming-up inKajaria Sanitaryware Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture co-invested by Kajaria CeramicsLimited (“KCL”) and local insiders, in Morbi, Gujarat, India.
Headed by Mr. Ashok Kajaria,Chairman of Board, the senior management team from KCL hosted the kiln ignitionceremony in company with Mr. Ajay Patel, the local Partner and Mr. David Wu,Overseas Marketing Director of HLT & DLT.
The kiln was lighted up in atraditional procedure with an atmosphere of sincerity, peacefulness and solemnity.More than one hundred guests from Delhi and local witnessed the grandevent.
The 116-meter-long tunnelkiln is equipped with DLT’s latest technology which features significantimprovements in the adjustable range of temperature, gas consumption, powerconsumption, automation in operation, etc. Compared with ordinary tunnel kilnsfor sanitaryware, the DLT tunnel kiln in Kajaria Sanitaryware will obviouslyreduce unit product cost and overall energy consumption after it has come intoregular production a few weeks later.
